I am 31 years old and just recently found myself starting my life over.
After working in the Orthodontic field for 11 years, I have started a new job at a physical therapy clinic. This career change has been incredibly positive for my mental and physical health. I also recently got out of an unhealthy relationship and have come to realize how much of an impact that had on my physical well being. I have felt physical better and more mentally at peace more in the last couple of months, than I have in several years. I am eager to see how much more my life continues to improve as I press on.
I am slowly working on getting my patient advocate certification, as it is my dream to be able to do more to help people dealing with health issues fight for themselves and the treatment they deserve. I am so grateful that Kate came into my life and was just as eager as me (if not more) to dive into the advocacy world. I have met so many amazing advocates on this journey and I can’t wait to see where it takes us.
I have two dogs, Sophie (lab mix) and Layla (shitzu) and a kitty I found by a moment of fate, Desi. I love being a dog/cat mom it is probably one of the things that brings me the most joy in this life.
My life is full of amazing supportive friends and family and I am always waiting on my next adventure. I love to travel, dance, and work on self growth. I am also really into astrology, I am obsessed with the moon and the planets and learning about them.
I am proud to be a part of the endo community, it has made such a positive impact on my life.
